Robin has more than 30 years of retail automotive experience in sales, general management, and as a dealer/owner. During his tenure as a dealer/owner, Robin served on several local, state, and national dealer associations and councils, including terms as president of the Missouri Automobile Dealers Association, Kansas City Automobile Dealers Association, and the Heart of America Dealers Association.
Operating under the philosophy that building and maintaining relationships with people is the key to attaining personal and corporate goals, Robin has built a career that successfully integrates deep retail automotive knowledge with the best management theory. This approach grew out of his observation that many dealerships lack management training, very rarely provide leadership training, and provide virtually no coaching or coaching training. Robin’s interest in this topic led to his work with many of the top coaches and consultants in and out of the retail automobile business. Robin's extensive coaching background, dynamic presentation skills and ability to listen and analyze make him an ideal instructor for the NCM Institute.
