DHG LLP and NCM Associates Announce Joint Venture

Charlotte, N.C., February 12, 2018 – Dixon Hughes Goodman (DHG), a U.S. top 20 public accounting and advisory firm, and NCM Associates, a leading automotive 20 Group, consulting, and training provider, announced today a joint venture called The Auxilio Group that will bring an unparalleled level of service to dealerships across North America. The two firms will combine their strengths to advise dealerships, including retail automotive, heavy-truck, heavy-equipment, power sports, motor sports, and recreational vehicles, on maximizing performance and ensuring sustainability in the industry.

DHG provides assurance, tax, and advisory services to companies in a variety of industries through a network of dedicated practice groups, such as DHG Dealerships. DHG Dealerships leverages its relationships within the industry to help identify solutions surrounding dealership trends and hot issues, including: mergers and acquisitions, succession planning, facilities and factory matters, performance, risk and regulation, and people and talent acquisition. As a firm, DHG is focused on providing superior client service through innovative strategy and comprehensive solutions.

NCM Associates focuses on providing in-dealership consulting services, management training through its NCM Institute, and its 20 Group peer collaboration process, which it founded in 1947, to retail automotive dealers and business operators throughout North America. NCM is widely known for its industry Benchmark® performance metrics, offering clients insights for making operational adjustments to improve the profitability and viability of their businesses.

The dealership industry is highly progressive and in constant need of products to foster creativity, innovation, and efficiency. In combining efforts and building on shared values, The Auxilio Group will serve as an all-encompassing resource for clients to turn to for guidance in enhancing operations, profitability, and sustainability in the midst of challenges such as dealership consolidation and industry disruption, technology concerns and utilization, and performance succession.

The name for The Auxilio Group comes from the word “Auxilio,” which is the Latin translation of the English verb "to help" or "to assist." The desire to help clients succeed is at the heart of both DHG and NCM Associates' mission and values and auxilio aptly describes what the two firms hope to accomplish together. The ultimate goal of The Auxilio Group is to offer products and services to dealerships in a way that is unique to anything being offered today. With a combination of 280 people in their respective dealership groups, both the DHG Dealerships team and the NCM Associates team have unmatched knowledge in their industries. Through this joint venture, the teams will join forces to develop innovative solutions for clients.

"The Auxilio Group is a collaboration that we have been working on as a team for many years, and we are excited to see our strategic vision come to fruition," said Tim York, Managing Partner of Industries at DHG. "We believe that this is the optimal time to introduce this joint venture to the marketplace as a way to holistically service our clients and add substantial value to their operations and earnings."

“The automotive industry continues to evolve and our clients are in constant need of enhanced services to tackle the ever-increasing complexities that arise,” said Paul Faletti, Jr., President and CEO of NCM Associates. “Consolidation and change will continue into the future, and, through The Auxilio Group, we can leverage DHG’s accounting strengths to help our clients better manage their financial and tax risks while utilizing NCM’s retail automotive knowledge to maximize performance to create products and services that boost overall profitability.
