Director of Business Development
As the Director of Business Development, Geoff is responsible for the strategic growth and direction of NCM’s overall new business in Canada, including new OEM clients, financial institutions, white label partnerships, and direct sales of the echo™ dealer solutions product, training solutions, consulting, and dealer 20 Groups.
Prior to joining NCM Associates, Geoff led the Canadian arm of ALG, the industry benchmark for residual values and a leading provider of automotive insights. His primary responsibilities included the strategic direction and delivery of ALG's residual value information and portfolio risk analysis tools to OEMs, financial institutions, and fleet companies. In addition, he governed the annual Canadian Residual Value Awards which recognize vehicles in 27 segments that are forecast to retain the highest percentage of their Manufacturer’s Suggested Retail Price (MSRP) after a four-year period for Mainstream brands and three-year period for Premium brands.
Geoff gained over seven years of valuable experience with Power Information Network in the areas of strategic growth planning, team leadership, market research, media relations, and client management. In this position, he helped shape several leading market intelligence solutions for Canadian automotive clients including Chrysler, Ford, GM, Honda, Hyundai, Kia, Mazda, Mitsubishi, Nissan, Suzuki, and Toyota.
Additionally, Geoff has more than 10 years of experience with GMAC in the areas of sales, credit risk analysis, customer service and collections, while also consulting with automobile dealerships on the design and implementation of lease-end marketing programs to maximize customer retention.
Geoff holds a Bachelor of Science degree in psychology from the University of Toronto and is an 11-time Ironman finisher.
