Vice President of Marketing & Communications
Because she believes a powerful brand can withstand the test of time, Skye focuses on strengthening NCM’s brand through content, digital, and traditional marketing strategies. She encourages the executive team, her peers, and all associates to participate in promoting and protecting NCM’s brand in the marketplace. And, with nearly 20 years’ experience at Fortune 500 and marketing companies, she’s learned that company culture plays a critical role in employee satisfaction and retention, which is why Skye is a strong advocate of making small cultural improvements that have positive, lasting impacts.
Since joining NCM in October 2014, she has led such efforts as rebranding NCM to include a new website, increasing NCM’s social media presence, introducing formal project management to the organization, presenting new technology to improve communications, and creating and maintaining an employee-sponsored, on-site weekly yoga class.
Skye earned a Bachelor of Science in Public Relations from Kansas State University's School of Journalism and Mass Communications in 1997, received a Master's in Business Administration in 2003 from Keller Graduate School of Management, and earned her Project Management Professional (PMP®) Certification from the Project Management Institute (PMI®) in 2014. She currently serves on the Kansas State University Alumni Board as well as the PMI KC Mid-America Chapter Board.
In her spare time, Skye enjoys spending time with her children and extended family, being a homebody with a good book (yes, a real book), and mentoring high-school and college students.
