NCM to Host Open House for Buy Here Pay Here Dealers Attending NABD 2013 in Las Vegas

NCM Associates, a leading provider of 20 Groups, training, retail operations consulting, and operations benchmarking services for franchised, independent and BHPH automotive dealers, is sponsoring the 2013 National Alliance of Buy Here, Pay Here Dealers (NABD) Dealer Academy and Conference in Las Vegas next month and will host an open house for attending dealers who would like to learn more about NCM’s support services for BHPH operators. NCM representatives and 20 Group clients will be on hand to meet and talk with attendees at the free event, which will be held on May 21st from 2:30 to 3:30 p.m. at the Wynn Las Vegas.

NCM Adds Two Retail Experts to Meet Increasing Demand for Auto Dealer Support

NCM Associates today announced it has hired two new associates to serve its retail automotive clientele. Mark Shackelford, formerly of the National Automobile Dealers Association (NADA), has joined the company as executive conference moderator for the 20 Groups division under Kevin Cunningham. Kevin Herndon has joined NCM’s Retail Operations Consulting division under Paul Stowe’s direction. The two newest NCM associates each have deep retail automotive management experience and join NCM to meet the need for increasing demand for NCM’s 20 Groups and in-dealership Consulting services.

NCM Announces Expansion into Leisure for its Travel Solutions Clientele

NCM Associates today announced it has hired Gloria Cherafat as a consultant for its expanding Travel Solutions division. Ms. Cherafat brings over 15 years of travel industry experience to a new position where she will focus on the leisure travel needs of NCM's Travel Solutions clientele. A world traveler, Cherafat has extensive cruise industry experience and has also lived abroad. Travel Solutions has served the business travel needs of thousands of retail automotive dealership personnel since its inception in 1997. Gloria joins Travel Solutions manager Susy Campbell and consultant Nikki Kiser at the company’s corporate headquarters in Overland Park, Kansas.

NCM and vAuto Partner to Offer Velocity 20 Groups

NCM Associates, a leading provider of automotive 20 Group, retail consulting, education, and operations Benchmark® analysis services to franchised, independent and Buy Here, Pay Here auto dealers, announced today it is working collaboratively with automotive dealership technology provider vAuto to form exclusive Velocity Dealer 20 Groups for dealers who subscribe to vAuto’s products and its Velocity Method of Management™ philosophy. Three invitation-only Velocity 20 Groups are now being organized with simultaneous charter group meetings to be held April 14-16 in Chicago.

AutoStar Selects NCM 20 Groups for its Buy Here, Pay Here Dealer Network

NCM Associates attended the AutoStar Solutions user group event, Innovate, last year which was the catalyst for the two companies to begin discussions on how AutoStar could utilize NCM’s established Buy Here, Pay Here 20 Group platform to assist its clients in comparing operating performance and exchanging ideas and best practices in a secure environment of non-competing peers. The two companies ultimately agreed to work collaboratively to form the groups and immediately set out to develop a unique meeting concept that marries the benefits of a traditional 20 Group with the power of a user group meeting. The first meeting of the inaugural AutoStar 20 Group will be held in Fort Worth in July.

NCM to Reveal axcessa™ at NADA: A Data Management Tool that Integrates Dealership Data to Improve Operating Performance

NCM Associates, a leading provider of automotive 20 Group, retail consulting, management training, and operations Benchmark analysis services to franchised and independent auto dealers, announced it will launch a new Web-based software solution, NCM axcessa, at the National Automobile Dealers Association trade exposition February 9-11, 2013 in Orlando, Florida. The axcessa information management tool quickly captures and assimilates the data contained in the various automotive dealership fixed, variable and accounting systems into detailed management reports in a matter of seconds, offering users total transparency to what’s happening throughout the dealership operation and maximum control to impact the efficiency and profitability of the dealership faster.

NCM Awards Its First NAMAD Scholarship in Support of Minority-Owned Auto Dealers

Dwayne Ferguson has been named the first recipient of the NCM Institute’s NAMAD Scholarship, and will receive fully-paid tuition for the year-long General Management Executive Program. Ferguson, Director of Operations for Cadillac of Orange Park (Jacksonville, Florida), holds several undergraduate degrees in Business, Political Science and Finance and an MBA in Global Management. He is also a graduate of the NADA Dealer Academy. When asked on the application about his expectations for the course, Ferguson noted, “I just want to be the very best at what I do. Especially when I walk into a dealership…. Not lacking in skills or confidence.” According to his sponsor, Andrew Ferguson, Dwayne is being groomed as a potential dealer principal and wants to “sharpen his craft” through the GMEP.

NCM Launches #NCMTips to Give Auto Dealers Free Actionable Guidance for Dealership Improvement

NCM Associates today announced the launch of an automotive management “tip of the day” on Twitter specifically for auto dealers and general managers. The tips will be tweeted using the hashtag, #NCMTips and are designed to help dealership general managers and dealer principals improve their dealerships’ operating performance by way of recommended operational best practices. #NCMTips will not only provide another platform for the industry to share ideas, strategies and best practices, a process NCM Associates established in its pioneering automotive industry 20 Groups, but it will also allow NCM to share its leadership in dealership variable and fixed operations management and training.

NCM Adds Four Associates to Expand its Franchised and BHPH Auto Dealer Services

NCM Associates today announced it has hired four new associates to serve its retail automotive clientele. Paul Kechnie, Joe Basil and Gene Daughtry have joined the company as executive conference moderators for the 20 Groups division under Kevin Cunningham. Steve Hall has joined the faculty of the NCM Institute Center for Automotive Retail Excellence as an instructor reporting to Garry House. The four newest NCM associates all have deep retail automotive management experience. They join NCM to meet the need for increasing interest in NCM’s 20 Group programs, and as the company is expanding its training programs for franchised dealership fixed operations and Buy Here, Pay Here dealers.

NCM to sponsor CPO Dealer of the Year Award; CEO to host dealer panel on CPO culture

NCM’s president and CEO Paul A. Faletti, Jr. will present the CPO Dealer of the Year Award to Longo Toyota’s pre-owned sales director, Will Amiri, during the ceremony on November 12th at 4:00 p.m. following opening remarks by Auto Remarketing’s Bill Zadeits. On November 13th, Faletti will moderate a panel discussion that will include Chris Hemmersmeier of Jerry Seiner Automotive, Mike Marsh of Boardwalk Porsche, and Steven Vangorder of Jeff Schmitt Auto Group. The dealerships are successful CPO operators representing domestic, import and high line franchises. Each participant will share how his dealership cultivates a CPO culture that allows them to exceed their peers in CPO operating performance benchmarks including gross per unit and CPO volume as a percent of total used volume. The panel discussion will begin at 3:00 p.m. in Ballroom ABCD at the Phoenician Hotel, the site of this year’s Used Car Week conferences.
