NCM Associates Expands its Online Data Analysis Tools for Automotive Dealership Groups with Proprietary Heat Map™

NCM Associates’ information technology team has completed the development of an exclusive online operations analysis tool specifically for its clients with multiple dealerships and franchises. The Proprietary Dealership Heat Map is designed as a web-based management dashboard represented as a series of dealership blueprints. The departments within each dealership’s blueprint change colors according to the monthly performance as compared to NCM franchise Benchmark averages. Like the NCM Dealership Heat Map for single-franchise dealerships, a deeper dive into the operating performance of each department is a one-click process that reveals a series of key performance indicator gauges. Each gauge allows the user to review the operational trends for that key metric by way of the web-based Profit Trend Analysis report, which reveals the dealership’s past 90-day performance against NCM Benchmark performers.

NCM Associates Expands its Management Training for Automotive Retail Dealerships with the Deep-Dive Seminar for General Managers

NCM Associates is ramping up its educational programming for automotive dealers with the launch of its Deep-Dive Seminar for General Managers being introduced April 16-20 in Dallas. The week-long seminar features three separate sessions targeting competencies that aid general managers in maximizing their effectiveness in the dealership. According to Garry House, director of the NCM Institute Center for Automotive Retail Excellence, the faculty identified the need for more focused attention on leadership development, integrated marketing concepts, and the fundamentals of service and parts department management after training hundreds of general managers in its Principles of General Management courses over the past two years.

General Motors Selects NCM Associates as its Exclusive 20 Group Program Provider to its Minority Automobile Dealer Network

NCM Associates divisional leaders collaborated on the proposal before presenting it to GM – MDD executives in October, in order to provide a comprehensive suite of services designed to assist GM’s minority automobile dealers in achieving profitability targets. In addition to GM - MDD 20 Groups, participating minority dealers will enjoy access to a full range of NCM Benchmark analytical tools and special information and learning opportunities, including web-based and classroom training through the NCM Institute, and in-dealership support from NCM Retail Operations Consulting.

NCM Associates and Northwood University Announce Training Alliance

NCM Associates, a leading provider of automotive 20 Group, Retail Consulting, Education, and operations Benchmark® analysis services to franchised and independent auto dealers, and Northwood University, a premier educational institution focusing on management and entrepreneurship, today announced an educational alliance designed to expose Northwood University students seeking degrees in Automotive Retail Management to NCM’s industry-leading Automotive 20 Group program. NCM pioneered the 20 group peer collaboration process, which provides a formal platform for automotive dealers from non-competing markets to compare and benchmark their operating performance and exchange best practices, experiences, ideas, and strategies. New NCM Associates Data Analysis Tools Help Automotive Dealers Spot Urgent Performance Opportunities Quickly

NCM Associates, a leading provider of automotive 20 Group, Retail Consulting, Education, and operations Benchmark® analysis services to franchised and independent auto dealers, will unveil its newest dealership operating performance management tools, Reality Check™ and Dealership Heat Map™, at the NADA Convention in Las Vegas February 4-6, 2012. NCM created the proprietary analysis tools in response to its clients’ need for a succinct yet robust review of its signature NCM reporting tools. General Motors and NCM Associates Team Up to Support Minority Automobile Dealers in 2012

According to Paul Stowe, Director, NCM Retail Operations Consulting, the Profit Correction Meeting (PCM) program is a proven approach to assess, identify and capitalize on profit opportunities in the dealership. “It is successful because it involves the dealer principal and department managers working in concert with their personal NCM retail coach to analyze current operating performance, gain insights on profit opportunities, and execute corrective action plans,” he said. “Moreover, managers are routinely challenged to operate their departments at NCM Benchmark® performance levels to be the ‘best-of-the-best,’ and using the disciplines learned in the PCM program, they typically do.”
